SYNTHETIC TANNING AGENTS

The Textan range of Synthetic tanning agents comprise of syntans for bleaching, neutralising and dye levelling, formulated with Naphthalene and formaldehyde. The replacement syntans for pretanning and retanning are based on phenol formaldehyde and acrylic polymers. Organic syntans are formulated with polyamides and aldehyde concentrate. All our syntans are eco friendly, in liquid form and totally absorbed by the leather. Consequently, they do not contribute to the effluent TDS build up.

1. LUNATANS PS Phenol Condensate Viscous Liquid 56+/-2% 3.5-3.6 Pretanning of veg. leathers. Replacement tanning agent for Chrome leathers to get fullness and tight grain.
2. LUNATAN NS Napthalene Viscous Liquid 56+/-2% 2.5-3.0 Bleaching of veg. leathers substitution of Sulphuric Acid and salt in pickling.
3. LUNATAN NNS Napthalene Viscous Liquid 56+/-2% 6.0-6.5 Neutralisation of Chrome leather. Buffering action to give smooth grain.
4. LUNATAN ARN Acrylic Viscous Liquid 35+/-2% 2.5-3.5 Filling of loose portion, light fast and excellent retanning material for full chrome and semi chrome leathers.
5. LUNATAN AR Acrylic Viscous Liquid 35+/-2% 5.5-6.0 Filling of loose portion, light fast and excellent retanning material for full chrome and semi chrome leathers.
6. LUNATAN RTY Phenol/ Napthalene Viscous Liquid 52+/-2% 3.5-4.0 Replacement tanning agent. Imparts additional fullness, mellow temper and smooth grain.
7. LUNATAN 11 Urea formaldehyde Viscous Liquid 48+/-2% 7.0-8.0 Very good filling, gives good nap for suedes and Nubuck.
8. POLYTAN UA45 Blend of imported Urethene Component with Acrylic copolymer Viscous Liquid 52+/-2% 5.6-6.0 Excellent filling action, light fast. gives soft and very tight leathers.
9. RETAN SF Polyamides and Aldehyde concentrate Powder 96-98%       _ Selective filling of loose portion. Gives very tight leather without hard feel.
10. *DISCRO VN Non-ionic Liquid 7.5-8.0 Chrome Tanning Chrome Dispersent. Helps uniform and higher uptake of Chrome.
11. *DISCRO ZX Amphoteric Liquid 7.5-8.5 Chrome Tanning Chrome Dispersent. Helps uniform and higher uptake of Chrome.
12. *RAJTAN CD Masked Basic Aluminium Sulphate Liquid 3.0-3.5 Tanning Partially replaces the chrome. Gives more flat and lighter colour tanned leather. Increases the fullness and depth in dyeing.
