PREPARATION
: By steam distillation
Colour & Appearance : Pale yellow liquid
Organoleptic Quality : Characteristic, critically evaluated against organoleptic
flavour standards.

Optical Rotation : +60o to +80o
Storage : Store in a dry place and protect from extremes of temperature
Shelf Life : At least six months in full sealed containers, under the above conditions. If stored for more than six months the material
should be re-evaluated before use.
Application

: Major user is the flavour industry. It is used in soups, meats,
pickles, sauces and various vegetable-based products. It is also used in perfumery in a wide range of products, but invariably in
small quantities.
